My love of the arts began many years ago in Darwin.  I gained my Assoc. Diploma in Ceramics and for many years produced and sold my pottery at Mindil Beach Markets.  I was also involved with various artist co-operatives as well as exhibiting in local galleries.  I went on to study Interior Design which gave me an awareness of space and design.

It was not until I moved to Queensland that I became interested in painting.  Originally I painted for my own space, for example, designing a painting that would fit a particular room.  This soon became a passion and I started attending workshops to learn more.  I am still finding my way and experiment with different techniques to see what I can achieve.  My paintings have seen me looking at figurative elements with movement and flow.  Since moving to Maleny I rediscovered my love of clay and I am drawn towards figurative sculpture. In combination with my paintings I hope to explore these elements more, with the sculptures and paintings telling their own story.
